Variance Application Scheduled to be heard September 2, 2026

Cliff Ogburn refused to file a zoning text amendment that would allow property owners to seek disciplinary action against town employees for violating Town Code as property owners are subjected to disciplinary action for violating Town Code.  This Zoning Text Amendment was submitted with the Variance Application being heard on September 2, 2026 because the Board of Adjustments must grant the Motion to Preclude Variance hearing and Approve Variance if there is competent, relevant evidence of neglect, unlawful acts, conspiracy and intentional misconduct on the part of the town.  Refusing to allow property owners to submit a Zoning Text Amendment with the applicable filing fee is prohibited by North Carolina Obstruction of Justice Laws.
