Save Southern Shores was created due to Wes Haskett and Cliff Ogburn's refusal to comply with Town Code Notification requirements, their refusal to correct their wrong doing, their refusal to comply with the Town Ethics Policy, their refusal to treat all property owners equally and most importantly, their decision to retaliate against property owners who have been wronged by their misconduct. Retaliation against property owners who have had crimes committed against them violates witness intimidation laws and Save Southern Shores will be exposing these corrupt government employees until they correct their wrong doing or are ousted, as the Town Ethics Policy requires Town Council to do to them. Southern Shores has a significant amount of senior citizens and Save Southern Shores will not tolerate Wes Haskett and Cliff Ogburn reducing land value from property owners with illegally adopted zoning codes taking property rights. Saves Southern Shores brings to the table experience filing complaints against corrupt attorneys which has resulted with an attorney being disbarred. Save Southern Shores also brings to the table experience exposing corrupt district attorneys, one of which withdrew from his re-election campaign as the Republicans only candidate after being exposed.

The ultimate goal of Save Southern Shores is to promote businesses and individuals that have made giving back to the community a priority of theirs.
Southern Shores town employees and their town attorney have initiated "character assassination" schemes because they have been caught violating town code and/or State and Federal Law. Save Southern Shores would never, ever engage in online "character assassination" against anything but misconduct preying on civilians.
